Explore my painted garden

These days, you can find me in my art studio pursuing my passion for painting floral studies of oversized blooms, each canvas an unfolding adventure of colour, depth and form.

I love to recall childhood memories of a scented garden teeming with roses and blooms of all colours.

I grew up in a household of creatives - a family of musicians and artists. There was always a project on the go and my inspiration being the natural world. We always had roses in the garden which may explain the deep connection and enjoyment I have of roses of all colours and varieties, from deep velvety reds, to pale and dreamy cream roses.

Expression through art

From an early age I immersed myself in art where I expressed my feelings, explored colour, and delighted in the simple pleasure of creation.

As a busy adult with a family of my own, I have realised the importance of painting and that it is a significant part of who I am, so I learnerd to make the time and space for my art no matter what.

Love that never ends

The love of nature continues as a theme in my work with paintings of hydrangeas, tulips, irises, magnolias, pears, lotus flowers, gumnuts, dahlias and more.
