Frida & Diego: Love and Revolution  I can’t tell you how excited I was to discover Frida Kahlo was coming to Adelaide in the form of the Frida & Diego : Love & Revolution exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia. I missed out on the exhibition held in Canberra close to a decade ago so this one being on home turf was a definite must. Discovering Frida  I must admit that I only really discovered Frida in the early 2000s when Salma Hayek portrayed her in the motion picture, Frida ! Explore my painted garden These days, you can find me in my art studio pursuing my passion for painting floral studies of oversized blooms, each canvas an unfolding adventure of colour, depth and form. I love to recall childhood memories of a scented garden teeming with roses and blooms of all colours.   'Delights of Anticipation' Oil on Canvas 26cm x 31cm (10"  x 12") I grew up in a household of creatives - a family of musicians and artists. There was always a project on the go and my inspiration being the natural world.
